Sari Asher Memorial Dog Park

1420 Washington St, New Buffalo. New Buffalo’s only dog park where dogs can run and play. Open daily, dawn until dusk. Open to all area residents and visitors. Donations accepted at the park.. Sari Asher Memorial Park contains an off-leash dog park . Park Rules Sari Asher Dog Park All dogs must be under owner’s control at all times. Please never leave your pet unattended. Do not leave small children unattended – unleashed dogs may be unpredictable. Aggressive dogs or dogs in heat are not allowed in this park. Dogs must be licensed and have up-to-date rabies vaccinations. Do not allow your dog to harass humans, other pets, or wildlife. Clean up after your dog – seal the waste in a bag before disposing in dog waste container. Leash your pet before leaving the fenced area. The future of this area depends on the dog owners behaving responsibly and obeying these rules. Thank you for your support. Enjoy the park!

The Harbert Community Dog Park

13411 Red Arrow Highway, is located on the south end of Harbert Community Park, just North of the Township Offices, the Dog Park can be accessed from the south end of the Harbert Community Park parking area. The Dog Park is approximately one acre of fenced area where registered dogs are allowed to run free under their owner’s supervision. A portion of the Dog Park is fenced off to allow small dogs to run separately from the larger ones. A water faucet is provided for watering your dog. Both areas are accessed through a dual gate ‘air-lock’ entry that provides space for the owners to leash and unleash their dogs as they enter and leave the Dog Park. Park Rules Dogs must be registered prior to use, or at the time of use. Please fill out a permit application for each dog. They may be left in the box provided. There is no charge for registering. Dogs must be licensed and have up-to-date Rabies vaccinations. All dogs must be under owners control at all times. Please do not ever leave your pet unattended Only those supervising or helping supervise a pet are permitted in the Dog Park. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Aggressive dogs or dogs in heat are not allowed in the park. Do not allow your dog to harass humans, other pets, or wildlife. The Harbert Community Dog Park was funded by the Harbert Business Association, the Pokagon Fund, and the Chikaming Township Park Board.

Warren Dunes State Park

Warren Dunes has three miles of shoreline, six miles of hiking trails and is open year-round. It also has a dune formation that rises 260 feet above the lake with spectacular views and 1,952 acres of recreational opportunity. We have 221 modern & rustic campsites and three modern mini cabins. Pet friendly shoreline.
